Stuck inside and looking for something fun to do? This easy to put together mini ring toss game is fun to make and because it is tiny, it's perfect for a table top!

Start with:

  • Wooden Spools
  • Paper Straws
  • Cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Pencil, optional

Create it!

Step 1: Cut paper straws of varying sizes.

Step 2: Place straws into wooden spools and line them up.

Step 3: Cut circles from cardstock. (Freehand or find objects to trace.)

Step 4: Freehand or trace smaller circle inside cardstock circles and cut out to form a ring.

Step 5: Toss cardstock rings, trying to land on the straws.

So much fun to make a game and play together!

We've got some fun planned for Letter T week - coming right up!

Do you have any socks without a match? While we may never know where the missing sock for the pair is, it does provide a pretty fun reason to make sock puppets! And, these easy to sew ones are just right for a beginning sewing project!

Start with:

  • Sock
  • Felt
  • Scissors
  • Needle
  • Thread

Create it!

Step 1: Cut a circle from felt.

Step 2: Cut a smaller pink circle from felt and sew both to the bottom of the sock.

Step 3: Cut an eye from felt and sew to the side of the sock.

Step 4: Cut triangles from felt and sew them to the top side of the sock.

We made a dinosaur but there are so many different options to create from just a sock and felt! And, we've got a several socks without partners so we will definitely be trying some other designs!
