Dinosaurs are so fascinating and while our favorite changes, this stegosaurus paper plate craft crown was a crowd favorite!
- Paper Plates
- Cardstock, optional
Step 1: Cut a length of cardboard and glue or staple the ends together to form the ring for the crown.
Step 2: Paint a paper plate and allow it to dry.
Step 3: Pain the outer edges of another paper plate and allow it to dry.
Step 4: Cut the blue paper plate in half for the dinosaur body and cut a head and neck.
Step 5: Glue the head/neck to the half circle.
Step 6: Cut triangle shaped plates from the orange paper plate.
Step 7: From the remaining part of the blue pate, cut a tail and glue on some orange plates.
Step 8: Glue plates to the dinosaur's body.
Step 9: Glue the tail to the dinosaur body, add an eye (We used cardstock but leftover paper plate would work great too!), and glue the dinosaur to the crown.
We really like the idea of making a dinosaur with plates on its back and tail from plates!
