Paper plates are such a handy crafting material - with a bulk supply ready and waiting in the pantry!
- Paper Plates
Step 1: Paint a paper plate and allow to dry.
Step 2: Cut the textured portion off of the paper plate (save the center to use for the tail and fins later).
Step 3: From the center portion of the plate, cut two small side fins and a tail.
Step 4:Cut approximately 4 inch to 6 inch segments from the textured portion of the paper plate.
Step 5: Glue the 4-6 inch segments together to form rings.
Step 6: Glue two ring segments together to create the body of the fish.
Step 7: Glue the fins to the fish.
Step 8: From cardstock, cut out an eye and glue to the fish.
One paper plate will make one fish. A fun craft to go along with an ocean study!
