Is your Christmas tree up? We are listening to Christmas music and decorating with lots of handmade crafts and ornaments - including this cheery wreath!
- Paper Plates
Step 1: Trace a paper plate on cardboard and cut out.
Step 2: Trace a smaller circle (like a cereal bowl) and cut out of cardboard to create a cardboard ring.
Step 3: Paint cardboard and paper plates green and allow to dry. Once dry, cut into various rectangle shapes. (We used the outside of the paper plates.)
Step 4: Glue green cardboard around the wreath. Add paper plate pieces.
Step 5: Cut cardstock into strips.
Step 6: Place a drop of glue in the center of the strip of cardstock and glue ends, creating a small loop on each side. Repeat to make four pieces.
Step 7: Using the pieces created in Step 6, glue them together in the center to create a bow for the wreath.
Step 8: Glue the bow to the wreath.
We liked the look of these with different shades of green and the classic red bow but a patterned paper could also be a really fun addition!
And, if you like using paper plates for crafting, don't miss this fun Christmas Tree Artwork!
