We often save the plastic tops from milk cartons. And, since we seem to go through quite a bit of milk, we always have several tops around. We turned them into ghosts to practice counting!
- White Plastic Milk Tops
- White Tissue Paper
- Paper Hole Punch
- Black Construction Paper or Cardstock
Step 1: Punch holes out of black cardstock or paper and glue two to each plastic top for eyes.
Step 2: Cut white tissue paper into rectangles. Fold in half.
Step 3: Place a line of glue along the fold of tissue paper.
Step 4: Fold the glued end back and forth, accordion style, and attach inside of the plastic top to create the ghost body.
We also cut numbers out of recycled cardstock to use in this fun Halloween counting activity!
