Halloween season + recycled materials and you are ready for a fun necklace making playdate! We pulled out a variety of textured materials from our recycle bin and had the most fun!
- Paper Plates
- Single Hole Punch
Step 1: Gather recycled cardboard, paper plates, etc. paint orange and black (if they aren't already) and allow to dry.
Step 2: Cut recycled materials into a variety of shapes.
Step 3: Punch a hole into the center of each shape.
Step 4: Cut strips of cardstock and fold accordion style.
Step 5: Punch a hole in the center of each accordion fold.
Step 6: Create a cat shaped face from cardboard and decorate with cardstock.
Step 7: Punch a hole on each side of the cardboard cat.
Step 8: Knot one end of the string to the back of one of the holes on the cat and begin stringing the recycled shapes.
Step 9: Tie the other end of string to the remaining side of the cat and secure.
