Start with:
- Cardstock (white, red, black)
- Cupcake Wrapper
- String
- Paper Straws
- Scissor
- Glue
- Single Hole Paper Punch
Create it!
Step 1: Fold a piece of paper or cardstock in half and cut a general gingerbread girl shape to use as a template to trace and cut the gingerbread girl from cardboard.
Step 2: From cardstock, cut out eyes, buttons and strips to decorate the arms and legs.
Step 3: Glue items from Step 2 on to the gingerbread girl.
Step 4: Cut the cupcake wrapper in half. This will form the skirt. To top of wrapper, add a band of cardstock and glue to the gingerbread girl's waist. Cut a bow from red cardstock and glue to the gingerbread girl's head to add a festive little accessory!
Step 5: Punch holes into each of the gingerbread girl's arms and thread string through.
Step 6: Cut straws into pieces.
Step 7: Add the straw pieces to each side of the arms and tie the loose ends of string to create a necklace!
