If you've been following along with our #ArtTheAlphabet challenge on Instagram, we are on Letter C week. Our Cardboard Cactus Crown is such a fun one to make!
- 1 Inch Paper Punch
- Single Paper Punch
Step 1: Cut a strip of cardboard for the crown band, Staple the ends together.
Step 2: Cut cactus shapes from cardboard. Paint the shapes green and allow them to dry.
Step 3: Decorate cactus shapes using white paint to make dots and lines. Allow the paint to dry.
Step 4: Glue the cardboard cactus shapes to the crown band.
Step 5: From cardstock, use the paper punches (or cut with scissors) to make flowers by gluing the single paper punch piece on top of a circle from the 1 inch paper punch.
Step 6: Cut around the edges of the flower to create a fringe for flower petals.
Step 7: Glue the flowers to the cacti on the crown.
