Warm colors, cooler weather, pumpkin flavored treats, it's just about time to say hello again to Autumn. The leaves haven't yet started turning their brilliant Autumn colors but since it is September - practically Fall - we couldn't wait! Make several and string these leaves together for a seasonal garland!
- Yarn in multiple colors
- Single Hole Punch
Step 1: From cardboard, cut the shape of a leaf.
Step 2: Punch holes around the edge or tips of the leaf.
Step 3: Tie a piece of yarn to the back of the cardboard leaf.
Step 4: Create a string art pattern by threading the yarn through the punched holes. Repeat with as many colors as your wish.
Step 5: Wrap yarn around the stem and secure with knot in back.
So many varieties of leaves and so many color combinations - not to mention easy set up and clean up - make this a fun invitation to create this season!
