Beautiful colored eggs of all sizes and hues - this is the season! One of my littles has an egg allergy so we haven't dyed a lot of Easter eggs. Instead, this year we made some colorful 3D eggs with paper plates and upcycled plastic tops!
- Paper Plate
- Glue or Hot Glue Gun (We recommend adult assistance with hot glue gun.)
- Plastic Bottle Tops (We used tops from milk containers)
- Pom Poms
Step 1: Paint outer edge of paper plate and allow to dry.
Step 2: Cut out painted portion and then cut into equal halves.
Step 3: Glue edge of paper plate to side of plastic bottle top and wrap around, gluing each portion around. Repeat with second half.
Step 4: Glue two halves together.
Step 5: Decorate with yarn and pom poms!
We used yarn and pom poms to add accents but beads, tapes and so many other materials would be fun too. Use what you have on hand!
